Privacy Policy
TrumpBetrayedMe.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only the information necessary to:
- Verify that submissions are from real people (not bots or AI)
- Ensure content is original and not AI-generated
- Maintain the integrity of the TBM.com project
Information we may collect:
- Name (optional if submitting anonymously)
- Email address
- IP address
- Any story or written content you voluntarily provide
We do
not sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.
2. ANONYMITY & IDENTIFIABLE DATA
You may choose to publish your story:
- With your name
- With a username
Regardless, we still need to verify you’re a real human being (and not a Russian bot or LLM in sheep’s clothing).
3. HOW WE STORE & PROTECT DATA
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption protocols. Access is restricted to essential team members bound by confidentiality agreements.
But no system is perfectly secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. LEGAL DISCLOSURE
We will never voluntarily share your personal information. However, we may be
legally compelled to disclose it if:
- We receive a valid court order or subpoena
- We are required to comply with applicable laws
If such a request is made,
we will notify you, unless legally prohibited.
Note, we’ve done some initial legal research and at least can tell you this:
- California (where we’re based) does have a strong shield law — Article I, Section 2(b) of the CA Constitution — and it protects unpublished information and confidential sources for people involved in “gathering, receiving, or processing information for communication to the public.”
- Your right to anonymity is protected by the First Amendment
5. COOKIES & TRACKING
We use minimal cookies and analytics to understand general site usage. No creepy tracking, no third-party adware. We hate that stuff too.
